She began her film career slightly unfortunately – with a main role in Henryk Kluba’s 5 i ½ bladego Józka [Five and a Half of Pale Joe], which wasn’t allowed on screens. But, seemingly moments later she captured people’s hearts with her role of Ania Pawlak in parts 2 and 3 of Sylwester Chęciński’s trilogy (Nie ma mocnych [Take it Easy], and Kochaj albo rzuć [Big Deal]).
Once seducing with her youthful charm and beauty, with age, her roles became richer and more dramatic. She played very different characters, ranging from Queen Barbara Radziwiłł to a journalist fighting with alcohol addiction (Tylko strach [Nothing but Fear]), endowing them all with her own warmth.
She’s been involved in charity work for years and started her own Foundation Mimo wszystko, which breaks down barriers between the world of healthy people and the disabled.
