About the film
It is 1939, the Eastern Borderlands. Witek, a secondary school graduate, is madly in love with Alina; Greta, another girl, is in love with Witek. The boy, however, does not notice the girl’s feelings, because all his attention is focused on Alina. Although initially reluctant, Alina is slowly reciprocating Witek’s feelings. They are trying to make a life together, but the approaching war will prevent them from doing this.
