About the film

Two companies manufacturing sports equipment − tennis rackets in particular − are fierce competitors. Heading the competition are: Jadzia, a charming young girl (the Malicz company), and Jan, a young, athletic, attractive boy (the Oksza company). Each tries to get a tennis champion to play with their racket; Jan first mistakes Jadzia for the champion and she plays along. When the lie is revealed, Jan places a sculpture of Jadzia in the shop window of his company; it was secretly made by a friend of his, an artist, who he pretends to be. Numerous intrigues involving all members of the two families and businesses, as well as thousands of misunderstandings later, the rivalry comes to end, thanks to a combination of the evenhandedness and love of Jadzia and Jan.
