She was the alluring Moorish princess Emina in Has’s Rękopis znaleziony w Saragossie /The Saragossa Manuscript, and Kowalski-Malinowski’s temperamental wife with her feet firmly on the ground in Konwicki’s Salto. After playing in a few TV and cinema films in which she used her undisputed vocal and musical talents, she became Kondratiuk’s ‘full-time’ actress, taking part in his remarkable poetic and private films and from the beginning of the 80s also co-producing them. She took occasional parts in other directors’ films as well – a role in Filip Bajon’s Engagement, and a bravely played, unexpected role of an alcoholic mother of the main character in Barbara Sass’s Krzyk/The Scream.
